Meeting times
10:30am Every Sunday
1st Sunday All Age Worship Service
3rd Sunday Holy Communion
Children and young people meet during adult worship.
What to expect when you come to our services....
A warm welcome and to be assured in word and action we appreciate your visiting us and trust it will be the start of a long and mutually blessed time together for us all!
We generally follow the principle of the four "P"'s set out in the Anglican prayer book:
PENITENCE
PRAISE
PRAYER
PROCLAMATION
These include some of the great prayers originally set by the English Reformers who were used of God to found the Anglican Church but add extemporary prayers of praise, penitence & petition.
The FCE holds to the principle of all God's people being gifted to serve the church and encourage congregational participation according to individual giftedness under the leadership of experienced, godly oversight. The bible is our sole authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
We use the English Standard Version of the Bible in the church and "Complete Mission Praise" mainly for singing along with contemporary Christian songs on screen.
No leader can depart from the authority of the bible no matter what postion he may regard himself to have or be regarded as holding in the church. In this sense all are accountable to one another under Scripture.
Children and young people will join in the adult worship up to the time of the sermon when they leave to join their age group for bible teaching relevant to their age group.
